Terms of Service

The short version: use the service legitimately, keep your account secure, and do not point QR codes at anything harmful or deceptive.

Last updated

Using the service

You may create QR codes for personal or commercial use. You are responsible for the destinations your codes point to and for complying with the laws that apply to you.

Acceptable use

Do not create codes that link to malware, phishing, illegal content or deceptive pages. Codes may be disabled if they are reported and confirmed to violate these rules.

Abuse of the API, including attempts to circumvent rate limits, is not permitted.

Availability

We aim to keep dynamic codes resolving at all times, but the service is provided as-is. Static codes you download have no ongoing dependency on us and keep working regardless.

Plans and billing

The free plan covers a limited number of dynamic codes. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance and renew until canceled. Editing a destination and scanning are never metered or charged separately.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time. Canceling stops future billing; it does not retroactively remove service you have already paid for. What happens to codes after cancellation is described on the pricing page.

Your content

You keep ownership of the destinations, labels and styling you configure. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service — for example, storing a destination so a scan can be redirected.

Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including the cost of reprinting materials. Choose codes and plans with the durability your print run requires, and test before printing at scale.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page and in the product changelog.
