Printed the wrong QR code? Here's what to do
It happens to everyone: a test URL goes to print, two codes get swapped, or an old file gets used. What you can do about it depends entirely on which type of code you printed.

If it is a dynamic code, relax
A dynamic code's destination is only a database row. Whether you printed a staging URL, the wrong product page or a placeholder, you can repoint it in seconds and the printed asset becomes correct.
- Wrong destination → edit it in the dashboard
- Codes swapped between two placements → swap their destinations
- Not live yet → repoint when the site launches
If it is a static code, you have options
The pattern cannot change, but you may still be able to save it. If the encoded URL is one you control, publish a redirect there to the right page. Otherwise the only fix is a reprint — and a good moment to switch to dynamic.
Preventing the next one
Add a scan test to your print sign-off, keep a naming convention for codes, and never print a code that points somewhere you do not control.
